NYWSE December 4 Event - Networking: Mentoring 2.0

The NYWSE December 4 event, Networking: Mentoring 2.0, promises to be a fantastic opportunity to mingle with great organizations and groups based in the NY-metro area.

Our keynote speaker will be Ami Dar, Founder and Executive Director of Idealist.org. Through Networking: Mentoring 2.0, NYWSE hopes to bring members of different similarly-minded (read: idealistic) organizations together in one room with the goal of promoting collaboration among the groups and expanding each member's existing network, thus creating a bigger and stronger community. Ami Dar will provide a strong message about making the world a better place through "action without borders.

Food will be served.

The first 50 attendees will have the chance to enter their business cards into a drawing for a one-hour Signature Massage, courtesy of Ohm Spa and Edward Jones. Every attendee will receive an Edward Jones holiday gift bag.

In Good Company Workplaces
In Good Company Workplaces provides women business owners with both a professional space to call their own and a strong peer network built through authentic, in-person connections and interactions. Our beautiful loft-like space is not only affordable but also available through several flexible membership plans (helpful for accommodating various and changing work/life needs). Members can use it as a place to work, a place to meet clients, and a place to hold classes and workshops.

Our community also benefits from opportunities to connect with other like minded women business owners (for collaboration, advice, expertise) as well as access to educational events and resources. Our events aim to facilitate not only the in-person connection, but also the exchange of sound and strategic business advice as well as tactical solutions.

The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of NYC (YNPN-NYC)
The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of NYC (YNPN-NYC) promotes an efficient, viable, and inclusive nonprofit sector that supports the growth, learning, and development of young professionals. We engage and support future nonprofit and community leaders through professional development, networking and social opportunities designed for young people involved in the nonprofit community. Our aim is to facilitate connections between people who can make a positive difference in the progress and effectiveness of the nonprofit community and increase their ability to have a meaningful, lasting impact.

With over 2,000 people in our network, and dozens of external partnerships, YNPN-NYC offers a resource for continual professional development, a network of socially minded and goal driven professionals, and a tool to market information or events to people in the nonprofit sector.

* In order to partner for the event, your group needs to ensure that a number of your members sign up (around 5-10 depending on your membership size). If you choose to purchase tickets in advance, NYWSE will include your group immediately onto our Partners section on this invitation.
